All performances occur at the Puppetry Arts Institute, and are $5.00 per person. Admission also includes a tour of our puppet museum. Finger puppets of show characters are for sale at the front desk. Reservations recommended for optimal seating.

Anitra Steele - Two Frogs & A Turtle Puppet Co. (From Independence, MO)
Grandpa Geppetto tells his grandson, Little Pin, a story about the time he was caught by a big fish.

Pinocchio
Kraig Kensinger - Puppetry Arts Institute (From Independence, MO)
The adventures of the wooden puppet is told with colorful storytelling and marionettes. The show is dedicated to the late Pady Blackwood.

The Legend of Walter Weirdbeard
Matt Sandbank's Shadow Factory (From Nashville, TN)
This shadow puppet show features a band of pirates who learn that adventures can also be found in the pages of a book.

Pam Corcoran Puppets (From Steven Point, WI)
Needle-felted hand puppets will steal your heart with a tale of stolen tarts.

Dr. Laugh's Old Fashioned Variety Show
Harris Deutsch (From Olathe, KS)
Come see an amazing display of magic, puppets, marvelous toys and lots of laughs!

Native American Tales
Urban Prairie Puppet Co. (From Omaha, NE)
A boy named Young Two Bears learns responsibility through the Native American stories his grandmother tells him.

The Three Bears
Peppy Puppets (From St. Louis, MO)
The traditional story of a small girl's encounter with a family of bears, with a few unexpected twists.

July 26
Pinocchio Farewell Extravaganza
Kraig Kensinger.
This will mark the end of the Pinocchio Time exhibit. It includes the Pinocchio show, refreshments and a special live appearance of the Blue Fairy and Pinocchio.

An old English folk tale with audience participation.
