Hazelle Puppets & Memorabilia

Visit the Puppetry Arts Institute and discover the amazing history of puppets, local and worldwide! Learn about Hazelle Hedges Rollins, a woman who began a small puppet company in 1932, which became the largest puppet factory in the world. Located in Kansas City MO, the factory made marionettes, hand puppets and finger puppets until the 1980's when the factory closed. The Puppetry Arts Institute also offers a workshop where visitors can create their own puppets using the remaining inventory from the factory.
